T20 World Cup 2010

04 30 2010 will be eagerly awaited by all Cricket Lovers. ICC Universe Twenty20, popularly known as T20 World Cup will kick start on this day. The next edition to be saved in Western world Indies, is organized by International Cricket Council (ICC). Twelve teams will conflict with the other person to earn the coveted trophy. The tournament has three periods viz., Group Stage, Top Eight Stage and Bump Out Stage. Champions Trophy 2017 Predictions

In the group stage twelve clubs, split up into four groups as provided below, will battle with each other. Group A – Pakistan, Quotes and Bangladesh. Group W – Sri Lanka, Fresh Zealand and Zimbabwe. Group C – South The african continent, India and Afghanistan. Group D – West Indies, England and Ireland

The top two teams in each group will be eligible for Super Eight Level. In this stage the eight teams are further split up into two groups. Every single team will play 3 matches in this level. The top four groups will qualify for the knock out stage viz., Semi Finals and Last. 

Generally 27 matches will be held in this event across three stadiums viz a) Kensington Oblong, Barbados b) Providence Arena, Guyana c) Beausejour Crickinfo Ground, St. Lucia. The final is scheduled on, may 16 2010.

This will be challenging to anticipate the results, as the course of game may easily change either way at any point of the time. The general overview of each team is given below.

India, the 2007 Safe bet, lead by Captain Nice M S Dhoni, is among the set of absolute favorites to lift the trophy. Indian Team has some big hitters like Yuvraj Singh, Sehwag, M H Dhoni, Yousuf Pathan. The bowling department has the experienced Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh. India will try to repeat their 2007 performance.

The protecting Champion, Pakistan after their disastrous Australia Tour, is now lead by Shahid afridi pics. They will look to repeat their last years performance. Ceylon (veraltet) last years sportsmen up will look to lift the trophy which they missed this past year.

Down under which was knocked in the group stage this past year will look to perform better this coming year. The team is led by Eileen Clarke and has a mix of young and experienced players. Brett Shelter who recently retired from Test Cricket is included in the side.

Western world Indies will have the good thing about playing in their home ground. South The african continent, a tough side to beat, will look to win the trophy. Fresh Zealand and England are expected to succeed in the Nice Eight Stage and has the ability to earn the trophy if they work on their day.

Zimbabwe and Bangladesh though not likely to reach Group Eight stage can astonish the opponents on their day and hence must not be taken lightly. Afghanistan and Ireland are the qualifiers in this event and it will be great experience for them to play resistant to the top teams. That will be a wonder if they reach the Super Eight Stage.

Mainly because said earlier Cricket can be any body’s game if they work on their day. So expect a great tournament with close finishes.
